Gilbert & Sullivan Austin
Gilbert & Sullivan Austin was founded with the purpose of educating the public and preserving the works of Gilbert and Sullivan. Formed in 1976 as the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Austin , the group now boasts more than 300 members and entertains and educates thousands of Central Texas residents every year. It produces one grand summer production and a chamber musical in February.
G&S Austin's summer production venue is Worley-Barton Theatre at Brentwood Christian School on North Lamar, a new 400-seat auditorium with orchestra pit and superb sightlines.
