Charles is no different than any other young man—he has problems with his father and he’s searching for meaning—until he’s diagnosed with a terminal illness. Now, he’s faced with some difficult decisions—stay in the hospital, like his father wants and expects, or follow the mysterious Sera out into the world and see what it has to offer.
