"Over my dead Jewish corpse is that going around her neck." - Daphna

Bad Jews by Joshua Harmon: There's nothing like a death in the family to bring out the worst in people. Take a peek at present day Manhattan and observe a lacerating dark comedy about twenty-something cousins battling over family, faith and legacy. Oh and ... who gets that coveted family heirloom necklace?
Directed by: Mark McCarver

This “family fight of biblical proportions that brims with bile and belly laughs” (Hollywood Reporter) is a dark comedy about the holy and the holier-than-thou. Daphna is an “uber-Jew” who attends Vassar and dreams of rabbinical studies and her boyfriend in the Israeli army, whom she met on a Birthright trip. When her cousin Liam, a secular Jew, brings home his gentile girlfriend Melody and declares ownership of their recently-deceased grandfather's Chai necklace, a viciously hilarious brawl ensues over family, faith, and legacy.
