The Overtime Theater brings a classic fairytale into the modern era with #Cinderella (Hashtag Cinderella). This new comedy was written by up-and-coming San Antonio playwright Jessica Roberts. Fans will see a familiar fairytale weaved together with social media influencers, Netflix deals and a strong sense of fashion. We follow Giselle, who moonlights from the privacy of her bedroom as a Tiktok star, as she hides her secret life from her greedy stepmother Katrina and her catty stepsisters. The sudden possibility of starring in a Netflix movie with a hot Instagram influencer named Henry gives Giselle a chance to be set free from cleaning floors.
