The Mountaintop
by Paradox Players

Feb. 21 - Mar. 08, 2020
Fridays-Sundays

The Mountaintop is a bold and humorous re-imagining of Dr. King’s last day on earth, and is directed by Rachelle Chery and Chelsea Manasseri. The cast features professional actors, John R. Christopher (from Tiny Beautiful Things) and Jasmin Garlic.  The music is from Mahalia Jackson, which will inspire and touch the hearts of the audience.

This gripping symbolic drama is placed in Memphis the night before Reverend King is shot in 1968. Katori Hall was the first black woman to win the Lawrence Olivier Award for best play in 2010 with The Mountaintop.
