A Ver, Un Aplauso!
by Proyecto Teatro

Apr. 04 - Apr. 13, 2014

ProyectoTeatro is pleased to invite the Austin community to celebrate its 10th anniversary with their upcoming mainstage production "¡A Ver, Un Aplauso!"  (Let's see, Give a Hand!) which was originally performed in 2003 and again in 2005 at the historic Paramount Theatre, placing the company as the first Spanish-language performance in the building's entire history.

This play is a satirical drama by Peruvian playwright Cesar de Maria that tells the story of two eccentric street clowns; Tripaloc, a vulgar clown on the verge of death by Tuberculosis, and Tartaloro, his unconditional friend who comes up with the ingenious idea of writing a book to save him from the hands of death that have arrived to take him away.
