"Self-checkout lane? As God is my witness, I never thought I’d see the day my HEB would thrust me unawares into an abyss of clueless shoppers, way-more-than-ten-items shopping baskets, and more free-range toddlers than you can shake a Glory-and-Praise hymnal at." 

 

Oh, if these grocery aisles could talk. The meaning of life may very well be found on aisle four, behind the canned tomatoes. In this funny and all too real play, three distinct individuals—an HEB employee, a grieving older woman, and a passionate foodie— intersect in their one shared space: the grocery store. 

Featuring Kenah Benefield, Janelle Buchanan, and Giselle De La Rosa and directed by Ken Webster.
