The Texas Chili Queens
by Pollyanna Theatre Company

May. 31 - Jun. 09, 2019
Thursdays-Mondays

Texas history is rich and flavorful, just like the chili made popular by a collection of entrepreneurial women in San Antonio in the 19th century. Set in a modern-day elementary school, a 4th grade descendant of an original Chili Queen competes in a school-wide chili competition. Jumping between the past and present, this multi-generational historical story celebrates what everybody can bring to the table.
