The Leander High School Theater Department will present William Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, directed by Linda Major, in the Leander High School Little Theatre October 17-20, 2018

Fairies mix with mortalsand magic spells yield improbable love affairs as two pairs of lovers and a band of misfit tradesmen wander into an enchanted wood in Shakespeare’s most popular and enduring comedy.  With comedy, magic, romance, and the incredible language of William Shakespeare, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM is a theatrical treasure that has remained one of the most popular plays in the world for over 400 years.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM features direction from Linda Major, set and lighting design by Jeff Davis, choreography by current student Camryn Lamontagne, and an iconic score by Felix Mendelssohn.

Unlike any seen before, LHS’s take on the material will be set in the Palace and Gardens of Versailles.
