Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote
by Scottish Rite Theater

Jan. 31 - Mar. 01, 2015

A Migrant's Tale: Pancho Rabbit meets danger at every stage of his journey to find his missing Papa, but the greatest danger of all is his untrustworthy guide. Kids will be inspired and cautioned by this resonant and powerful story. Live music and imaginative scenes fill the Scottish Rite stage.

Curricular materials created by master teacher Caroline Sweet are available to teachers.

From the original book by Duncan Tonatiuh, adapted for the stage exclusively for Austin Scottish Rite Theater, Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote is the winner of several awards including Pura Belpré Author and Illustrator Honor, Kirkus Best Books of 2013, Best Multicultural Children's Books 2013, Notable Children's Books from ALSC 2014 and others.

At Scottish Rite Theater, kids can get the best seats in the house—on the big carpet close to the action! Open seating for all.

Tickets available online and at the door one hour before showtime.

Parking lot and street parking available.
