Texas State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance is proudly presenting Legally Blonde, based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture. Music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, book by Heather Hach. The show will run Nov. 15-20 in the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre under the direction of Cassie Abate.

 Elle Woods appears to have it all, but her life turns upside-down when her boyfriend dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle charms her way into the Ivy League school and sets out to prove herself to the world.

The opening night for Legally Blonde will be Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m., and it runs through Sunday’s matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Nov. 20.

All performances will be in the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre.
