Believing her husband to be involved with the scandalous Mrs. Erlynne, Lady Windermere flees to Lord Darlington's home.  Only Lady Windermere runs into Mrs. Erlynne at Lord Darlington's, and is convinced to return to her husband. Why would Mrs. Erlynne, a stranger to Lady Windermere, try to save her marriage? Why do Mrs. Erlynne and Lord Windermere appear to be on such friendly terms? Or would knowing such information be more scandalous?
