Good People is a fast paced, hard-hitting story set in South Boston, locally known as Southie, where each paycheck barely covers the bills. Our protagonist Margie Walsh has to fight to make ends meet and support her daughter. After losing her job and facing eviction, Margie thinks an old boyfriend who's made it out of Southie might be her chance at a new life. With time running short, Margie is about to risk everything she has for one last shot at a fresh start. With humor and a keen eye for revealing both the “good” and the “bad” in all of us, Lindsay-Abaire explores what it means to live and fight to survive in modern America.
It contains profanity and mature themes.
