Thursday-Sunday

From the Songwriting team of Kander and Ebb, creators of Cabaret and ChicagoCURTAINS mixes an Agatha-Christie-like mystery with the song and dance of a Broadway musical. Set in 1959 Boston, this twisty whodunit tracks the behind-the-scenes misadventures of police detective Lt. Frank Cioffi as he moonlights as a musical fan trying to save the show and solve the case of the opening night murder of a supremely untalented star.  The audience will be on the edge of their seats watching the detective tripping and tapping into a romantic love all before the show reopens, hopefully without getting himself killed.

This entertaining musical scored eight Tony Award nominations in 2007 including Best Musical, Book and Original Score and will entertain audiences of all ages. Runtime for the show is 2.5 hours.

Anderson High School Fine Arts Department is proud to present CURTAINS  - the Musical  Comedy Whodunit as their 2017 annual musical.  Directed by Bobby Malone and Technical Director Katie Wilson along with Musical Direction by Karla Cruz, Orchestra Direction by Richard Fraizer and Choreography by Jill Urban.
