A Very Pink Christmas 2015
by Austin Babtist Women

Dec. 20, 2015

The all-male, all-volunteer comedy fundraising troupe, the Austin Babtist Women, will ring in the holidays with their 29th Annual "A Very Pink Christmas" on Sunday, December 14th.

This year’s Holiday Show features special guest performances from some of the top, award-winning female impersonators in the nation, including Victoria Weston, Kara & Tara Dion, Chanel Champagne, and Alexandra Mykels.  The Austin Babtist Women will also perform their signature brand of holiday hilarity that has earned them accolades throughout the United States.

Created in 1986, the Austin Babtist Women have become an incredibly-respected charitable force, performing throughout the nation to raise money for HIV/AIDS, breast cancer and other charitable causes.  The troupe of five male actors take-on the personas of "little old church ladies" and stage elaborately choreographed, side-splitting routines -- raising more than $7 million dollars along the way for regional and national non-profit organizations.

The Austin Babtist Women were originally created as a one-time charity performance, but demand for their shows has led to an almost-three-decade run of fundraising.  The troupe has performed on Broadway and in Las Vegas -- and major cities coast-to-coast -- and continues to headline major events across the nation in addition to producing four signature shows locally each year to benefit Central Texas charities.

Admission to the Austin Babtist Women's "A Very Pink Christmas" Holiday Show is a $5 suggested donation at the door.  Bout Time II is located at 6607 North IH-35 Frontage Road in Austin.  For more information, visit www.BabtistWomen.com.
