Especially because this one was extra!This season’s selection process was by far the most extensive yet. One Ounce Opera, in our annual call for scores, reviewed a record 105 short operas submitted from all over the world – more than double what we received last season. High-quality, engaging works from folks living as far away as Italy & Australia and as close as a neighborhood over.

 

We worked diligently to line up an engaging program of three micro-operas (in English!) that will immerse you in the sonic tellings of connective, important, oh-so-human stories. Stories that feel NOW. Dynamic. Transformational. Familiar, yet…not. With characters – and voices – you won’t soon forget.

 

And this summer, we’ll open the doors to the warehouse and welcome you to indulge in our freshest crop of three micro-operas. Performed together. On a single program:
