Nick Cristano spends every Sunday having dinner with both sets of his lively Italian American grandparents. But when he receives an exciting job offer on the West Coast, Nick is eager to pursue a new chapter in his life. The only problem is leaving behind the family who has always been at the center of it. Determined to keep him close, his grandparents launch a series of increasingly creative and hilariously persistent plans to change his mind, including inviting a charming and single young woman to dinner.
The cast features Marcy Bannor as Emma (Fruitcakes, The Game’s Afoot), Elizabeth Byrd Shipsey as Aida (Fruitcakes, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Sweet Delilah Swim Club), Ted Doolittle as Nunzio (To Kill a Mockingbird, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Taming of the Shrew), Aili Maeve McLellan as Caitlin (Unity debut), Jim Salners as Frank (Fruitcakes, The Mousetrap, The Crucible), and Christian Tannous as Nick (Unity debut).
The production is directed by Jimmy Phillips (most recently directed Honky Tonk Angels, Fruitcakes, Crimes of the Heart), with set design and production stage management by Alan Will, lighting design by David Gipson, sound design by Ryan Eisworth, costume design by Kristina Hanssen, and assistant stage management by Kylie Chalmers.
Audiences are invited to enjoy this delightful comedy filled with laughter, love, and the kind of family dynamics that feel all too familiar.

Preview performance on Thursday, June 11. Tickets for that performance are $24. Audiences are invited to attend a Talk Back with the cast immediately following the show.
A Director’s Chat will take place prior to the performance on Saturday, June 20.

Regular ticket prices are $30. Circle Members may begin making reservations on May 18. Subscribers may reserve seats beginning May 26, and tickets will be available to the general public beginning June 1.
