The Frosty Follies: A Holiday Cabaret

The most anticipated holiday party of the season is back, and you're invited! The Frosty Follies, a one-of-a-kind holiday cabaret, returns to Classic Theatre  with a brand-new, original script that transports guests to a swanky mid-century modern celebration. This year’s production promises to be an interactive and intimate experience, inviting audiences to be a part of the party rather than just spectators.

 

Director Kacey Roye adds, “Directing the return of this season’s The Frosty Follies has allowed me the unique opportunity to reimagine this holiday favorite as a playful, immersive, and intimate living room party for performers and audience alike. With a cast of four new characters, and Miss Nerryl Williams as the hostess extraordinaire, we’ve built a cabaret that feels equal parts vintage sparkle and present-day charm. At its heart, the show is about togetherness; the laughter, the champagne, and the glitter that lingers long after the curtain falls. My hope is that audiences leave feeling not only entertained, but also embraced by that sense of holiday magic we can only find when we celebrate side by side.”

 

The festive cabaret showcases a talented cast of San Antonio's finest artists, who will perform beloved holiday classics. The production's unique, interactive format breaks the traditional stage-to-audience barrier, encouraging participation and creating an atmosphere of shared joy.
