A Christmas Carol
by Playhouse 2000

Dec. 05 - Dec. 19, 2020

Your Playhouse 2000 has decided to cautiously re-enter the world of production with a revival of our most popular Holiday Special production, the small-cast adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

The show calls for four actors (though that may be expanded - we actually used five last time) who re-create dozens of characters including The Cratchit Family, Jacob Marley and the Spirits of Christmas, The Fezziwigs, and, of course, the humbug himself, Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Jeffrey Brown directs the show.

We’re reviving the most popular Holiday Special Production in
Playhouse 2000’s history, bringing you a faithful adaptation of
the story we all know and love, created by a flexible cast of six
and featuring traditional carols.

Social Distance seating means space is limited! Don’t wait!

Make plans today to see Kit Werlein return to the stage as Ebenezer Scrooge, joined by Elyse Brooks, Treston Mack, Michael Wingard, Cindy Vennes, Emery Dorman and Nancy Stewart as all the other characters.

Joan Bryson and Samantha Ugarte pitch in as Carolers, and we welcome newcomer Brian Chmylak, owner of YoMo Music on Sidney Baker Street, who will provide the real-time sound effects.
