“Thank You for Being a Friend:” The show is a spoof of the sitcom “The Golden Girls.” It’s a follow-up to an earlier “Golden Girls”-themed show that was staged at Woodlawn Pointe, in which DeHoyos, Waters and Lopez played Dorothy, Blanche and Rose. 

This male cast parodies several episodes from the popular TV series of four formerly married women living together in Miami, Florida
