Players at the Pointe

Founded 2020 with a six-production season at Woodland Pointe.

From Deborah Martin, San Antonio Express-News, January 6, 2020:

A number of theater companies have produced work at Woodlawn Pointe community center over the past few years, and the center now adds its own troupe to that roster.

The Players at the Pointe debuts next month with the original “Golden Girls” spoof “Thank You for Being a Friend.” It’s the kickoff to a six-show season running through the end of the year.

“We believe in supporting the arts as much as possible,” said Pastor Joseph Garrett, who runs the center, which also is home to the Living Church at Woodlawn Pointe.
