In this modern retelling of the classic story, Thebes is a country in turmoil. With the new king having suddenly risen to power, the people of Thebes are increasingly discontent. Obsessed with discovering what is poisoning his subjects against him, Oedipus is willing to give up anything, sink to any low, to recover the lost greatness of Thebes.
Content warning: this production deals with issues of mental health and wellbeing, including topics of loss, suicide and self harm.
