A Washa for Kinshasa
by Cinnamon Path Theater

May. 19, 2018
Saturday

For one night only comes a convergence of music, comedy, storytelling and dance.  All proceeds go to fund the purchase of an industrial-strength washing machine for the Kimbondo Orphanage in Kinshasa. The orphanage was founded in 1990 and currently houses, clothes, feeds, and educates more than 800 children. The goal of this benefit is to help with the final touches of a large renovation project begun in October, 2016. You can read more about the project at abedforeachchild.blogspot.com/

Featuring the band Jomo & the Possum Posse; storytellers Ava Love Hanna, Christine Hoang and Tristan Mercado; and comedians Her Dinosaur (of Isabella & Her Dinosaur), Carlton Wilcoxson and Joey Zimmerman; plus other special guests.

Contains some adult themes and may not be suitable for very young children.
