After 30 years, two women reunite to face the long-concealed childhood trauma that scarred and shaped their lives. Together they unravel the painful memories and find strength in each other. The Toronto Star calls the play a “richly rewarding new masterpiece.”

Based on a true story, Perfect Pie is an intimate and emotional drama by acclaimed Canadian playwright Judith Thompson.

While Patsy marries a prosperous farmer and stays in the town she grew up in, wild child Francesca follows the lights of the big city as a successful actress. In the course of an afternoon’s reunion between the long-estranged friends, a buried memory and a wild secret crash into the present.

Texas State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance is proudly presenting Perfect Pie by Judith Thompson. Perfect Pie is directed by MFA student Carly Conklin, October 31-November 5, 2017 on the Theatre Center Mainstage.
