Clarence Darrow
by Paradox Players

May. 05 - May. 21, 2017
Fridays-Sundays

Here is the famous attorney reminiscing over his long and renowned career, touching on many of his famous trials, including the Scopes "Monkey" trial and the sensational Leopold and Loeb case. Darrow addresses much of America’s turn-of-the-20th-Century legal history with salty humor, courtroom gusto and human relish. His private life and many events of his time, including shocking labor conditions and communist hysteria, are woven into this story of a man who accepted unpopular cases and defended unpopular people. Don’t miss this powerful one-man tour de force performed by Paradox Players Artistic Director Gary Payne.
