Spirit to Resist
by Untamed Shakespeare

Mar. 03 - Mar. 04, 2017

Ever wondered what Shakespeare might have to say about our current political climate?

The women of Untamed Shakespeare are back to take you on another breakneck ride through Shakespeare’s plays, and this time, it’s getting real.

We’re bringing you rigged elections, corrupt politicians, mass riots, and more. Sexual assault by the powerful? Shakespeare addresses it. Downfallen female political figures? All over the place. An impassioned defense of refugees? It’s the only surviving speech we have in his handwriting. You bet you’ll hear that, too.

(We might even throw in some appearances by modern characters, for good measure.)
