Stage Management Call
The Yellow Wallpaper is a direct stage adaptation of Charlotte Perkins Gilman's 1892 short story, adapted for the stage by Jeff Davis. The play follows a woman confined to a rented colonial mansion by her physician husband, ostensibly to rest and recover. It is an intimate two-hander psychological horror built around bodily autonomy, the mistreatment of women in healthcare, and the suppression of women's creative power.

• Stage Manager: Owns the paperwork, calls the show, and is the throughline between director, cast, and design team from first rehearsal through closing.
• ASM/Backstage Actor: Supports the SM in the room and on book, This role is also designed so that this person also performs a physical, non-speaking role within the play itself. A chance to be a unique presence in performance as well.
