Classic Theatre San Antonio Zooms to Discuss Theatre's Future and Role, January 26, 2022, from 7 p.m.

 

(www.classictheatre.org)Join The Classic Theater in a redefining conversation about the theater’s future role in San Antonio. “The Classic Theater of San Antonio: Our Next Chapter,” as part of the DreamWeek’s 2022 Summit, will include the theater’s new Executive & Artistic Director, J. Robert “Jimmy” Moore, as well as founding member and current board member, Tony Ciaravino. The discussion will unveil Moore’s vision for The Classic Theater’s future and will be held on January 26th at 7 p.m. on Zoom. 

 

The evening will be moderated by Ciaravino, a long-time San Antonio theatre artist, and will include an introduction of the new EAD as well as a live audience Q&A where local practitioners, audience members, and stakeholders can participate. 

 

The mission of The Classic Theater is to, “create excellent theatre that is relevant, diverse, entertaining, and transformative.” Learn how Moore plans to continue the mission of The Classic Theater through his leadership and expertise which comes from an extensive background in creating new and accessible approaches to theater through expanding educational programming, creating enhanced donor experiences, and taking theater performances to uncommon spaces.
