McCallum Fine Arts Academy in Austin is seeking a new Technical Theatre Teacher.
We are a Fine Arts Academy within a comprehensive high school. Our program is large and healthy with over 100 theatre majors out of 800 fine arts majors total within the school that are deeply dedicated to the arts. Many of our students go on to study theatre at the most exclusive BFA theatre programs in the nation and in London.
The Technical Theatre Teacher will build 4 main-stage shows per year: 2 musicals and 2 straight plays utilizing a hand-on curriculum approach in the classroom and after school.
