In this Obie-Award winning play, the lines of love and scandal blur in this passionate story of on-again-off-again lovers helplessly branded to one another and hopelessly repeating their destructive past. When May’s attempt at a new life is interrupted by the return of Eddie, her innocent date, Martin, is caught in the fallout, and sparks fly.
Sam Shepard's Fool for Love marks the Cellar Theater directorial debut of The Playhouse’s CEO and Artistic Director, George Green. Fresh off a success with his Russell Hill Rogers debut show, All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914, George is excited to bring this new American classic to life.
