Jump-Start Performance Co. is bringing back MinuVistas! MinuVistas 2 will feature original one-minute videos with the theme “The Good, The Bad and The Virus”.

Submissions are open to local and out of town communities, guest artists, friends, family, and pretty much anyone who wants to accept the challenge of creating a one-minute video. 

Videos must be family-friendly and no more than one minute long. An online MinuVistas entry form will need to be filled out.

Videos will be chosen based on staying within the one-minute limit and theme inclusion.  A $25 stipend will be paid for chosen videos.  

Deadline to submit: Monday, September 20, 2021 by 8 P.M. (CDT).  

Virtual Presentation: Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 7:30 P.M. (CDT).  MinuVistas 2: “The Good, The Bad and The Virus” will be presented via Zoom. Admission is at the audience member’s discretion to “choose-what-you-pay”: $0, $5, $10, $15 or $20.  A Zoom link and password will be emailed after the purchase is complete. Tickets will be available at www.jump-start.org.

Jump-Start company member Lisa Suarez launched the first installment this past June. The interest and excitement expressed by the participating artists and those who hoped for another opportunity has paved the way for MinuVistas 2.  Lisa sees this as a way to open Jump-Start’s stage, albeit virtually, to not just our close artistic friends, communities and collaborators, but beyond.
