Ralphie Parker only wants one thing for Christmas: A Red Ryder BB gun. Despite pleading his case to his mother, teacher, and even Santa Claus himself, he gets the same response: “You’ll shoot your eye out!” When the big day arrives he gets lots of present under the tree including a lovely gift from his aunt that his mother just adores. But what about the BB gun?
Based on the 1983 movie, join us for a fun-filled night where you’ll laugh yourself right out.

Storyteller with a deadpan sense of humor, who weaves in and out of scenes.
Mother (Lead) Female 30-50 SONG SIDE
A warm sense of humor, loving, no-nonsense. The glue that holds the family together. Contemporary mezzo, low G to high Db.
The Old Man (Lead) Male 30-50 SONG SIDE
Good-hearted, stern, devoted. Song and Dance Man. High baritone to G.
Miss Shields (Supporting) Female 30-60 SONG SIDE
Elementary School Teacher, Prim, and Proper. Strong Singing Voice, belter. Tap dancing skills a plus.
Santa: (30-60) SIDE
The Santa Claus at Higbee’s Department Store. Ill-tempered, slightly inebriated and very unhappy with his job. Baritone to G.
