The After-Life
by Teatro Audaz

Nov. 14 (2017)

The After-Life is a collection of five one-act plays (Trans-fixed, Hard-Knoxxx, The Truth About the Bathtub Soap Dish or The Undying Confessions of a Chronic Masturbator, Princess Party, and In Memorium: In the Sauna at the Downtown Y) that explore various aspects of loss, including: the loss of life, the loss of innocence, the loss of self-worth, the loss of relationships, the loss of truth, and the loss of space. The characters in each story engage their respective losses through self-examination, memory, story telling, and celebration and are challenged to forge their lives forward within the contexts of their “new normal.”
