On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. So far north it's almost in Canada, the residents of this town are falling in and out of love in unexpected, unusual, and often hilarious ways. Knees are getting bruised, and hearts are getting broken. But the bruises heal and hearts mend -- almost -- in this delightful romantic comedy where 6 actors play 19 different characters. Welcome to Almost, Maine: It’s love. But not quite.
Comprising nine vignettes, John Cariani’s comedic play, “Almost Maine,” has been described as “Thornton Wilder crossed with The ‘Twilight Zone’"
