SEEKING GUEST DIRECTORS FOR SAINTS FOR TODAY

The Great Commission Theatre is seeking collaborative directors for Saints for Today: An Evening of Staged Readings, a curated theatrical event featuring six original 10-minute plays that explore themes of struggle, grace, transformation, redemption, and the human search for meaning.

We are looking for directors who are passionate about meaningful storytelling, emotional truth, and creating thoughtful artistic experiences that move audiences. Each selected director will be assigned one 10-minute play and will guide performers through a light rehearsal process, helping shape the tone, pacing, character relationships, and emotional clarity of the piece.

Inspired by the lives of extraordinary historical and spiritual figures, these new works invite audiences into stories of vulnerability, resilience, encounter, and hope. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a diverse network of artists and help bring new original works to life in an intimate, reflective performance setting.

*A small honorarium may be available for selected directors.
