Calling all Texas playwrights! Austin Playhouse is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Festival of New Texas Plays! 
This festival celebrates the vibrant storytelling and diverse voices of Texas playwrights, showcasing new works that reflect the rich cultural landscape of our state.
Submissions are open through May 22. Selected works will receive a staged reading at Austin Playhouse August 14 - 16, 2026.
