The Hill Country Arts Foundation and The Point Theater in Ingram debuted the Disney musical “Newsies” on Friday night. The musical is based on the 1899 newsboy strike against the New York World and the New York Journal. Joseph Pulitzer owned the World, while William Randolph Hearst owned the rival Journal.
