Vincent intimately relates the life story of the iconic painter, Vincent Van Gogh, from the perspective of his brother Theo. Based on actual letters between the pair, the play goes beyond biography by celebrating the courage, passion, and the lust for life that art kindles in all of us.
Vincent stars Penfold co-founders Ryan Crowder and Nathan Jerkins alternating in the play’s single, extraordinary role and features music by local French jazz artist, Julie Slim.

Experience the harrowing story of Henry Box Brown, the abolitionist lecturer and early magician who escaped slavery by mailing himself to freedom. This world premiere by Jarrett King imagines an unwritten chapter in the story of one of history’s most overlooked folk heroes.


Box is the second world premiere in a five-year series of new play commissions devoted to the theme of “reimagined classics!”
