The Magik Theatre receives 2017 Impact San Antonio Grant

We are thrilled to announce that The Magik Theatre is one of four recipients of a $100,000 Impact Grant. Grant funds will enable us to upgrade our restrooms, wheelchair access ramp, lobby and seating for the benefit of all our patrons. Magik continues to find new ways to serve families with special needs children, including sensory-friendly shows sponsored by University Health System. This grant will ensure these families experience our literature-based performances in a comfortable, safe environment. Impact SA is leading the way in ensuring that The Magik Theatre will be able to continue to serve over 125,000 people annually for years to come.

Magik's CEO Frank Villani says "The Magik Theatre is grateful for Impact San Antonio's generous grant. This award is the foundational building block to make our performance venue at Beethoven Hall more accessible and ADA compliant."
