Fourth Act Productions

"The fourth act sort of makes or breaks a show.

They used to call it the 'Sensation Scene' - because the idea is to overwhelm your audience's senses, to the end of building the truest illusion of reality... to make people think, for just a second, that what they're seeing is real and dangerous and sort of novel."

We believe live theatre is undergoing a major overhaul -- a rebirth, of sorts.

Somewhere along the way, we lost sight of our purpose and who we serve. Many theatre "artists" have become more concerned with showing off a piece of stagecraft or flexing an acting muscle.
It became far too common to hear the phrase, "if they don't get it, that's their problem."

Wrong.
Just, no.

Luckily, we get the chance to begin anew.

Our purpose is to create one-of-a-kind evenings shared by a group of people
-both onstage and off.

To live through something together.
To illuminate the human experience.
To put the community back in community theatre.

As for who we serve, well that's easy; you, the playwright, and the gods.
-not necessarily in that order.

We aim not to impress you, but to move you; to stir you.
Theatre has been dark for so long.
But we see the light at the end of the pandemic-tunnel.

Join us in rekindling the flame that we should have protected before.
