Austin Creative Reuse
Austin Creative Reuse (ACR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to foster conservation and reuse through creativity, education, and community building. We opened Austin’s first creative reuse center in September 2015, where we collect, process, and re-sell gently used creative materials donated from individuals and businesses. T o date, ACR has diverted more than three and a half million pounds of usable creative materials from the landfilland hosted hundreds of community events to promote creative reuse. Learn more at
Its Reuse on the Runway: A Night of Fashion, Costume and Drag is a community fashion show for local makers and creators of all kinds to share their designs in an inclusive, judgment-free environment. Designers are expected to show more than 50 unique looks, all of which incorporate some element of reuse materials or techniques.
