Annihilator
by Bottle Alley Theatre Company

Dec. 10 - Dec. 11 (2015)

ANNIHILATOR is an original script written by company founder, Chris Fontanes and directed by Austin newcomer Jamie Goodman. It explores the concepts of mortality and what a human soul is really worth. With Death personified, a pair of kooky demons, and one woman who’s having a really rough night this cast of four will take the audience on a ride that is both comedic and tragic.

Bottle Alley Theatre Company is currently searching for four actors for our upcoming production of ANNIHILATOR, the final show of our third season entitled We Will Only Be Young For So Long.

Bottle Alley Theatre Company is an experimental theatre company that creates smashmouth, thought-provoking, and bare bones theatre. We are an ensemble based group who believe in HONESTY and TRUTH, on and off the stage. We also believe that the process should be fun and worth your time. So, that's a perk.

Rehearsals will begin the week of January 4 and are tentatively set for Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7-10pm. Scheduling will be discussed further after casting. Performance dates are set for April 1-3 and April 8-10. Actors will be compensated.

Auditions for ANNIHILATOR shall take place BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on the evenings of Thursday, December 10th and Friday, December 11th beginning at 6 pm at Space Rehearsal & Recording (7915 Manchaca Rd). You only need to attend one of the sessions. Auditions will consist of a short Q&A with the director and cold reading alone and in pairs, if requested.

If interested please email your resume and headshot (in lieu of resume and headshot you may list any experience in body of email) to the director, Jamie Goodman, at jamie23gail@gmail.com. In response you will receive the script and confirmation of your audition date and time. We feel it is necessary with original work to familiarize yourself with the project before committing yourself to it. The sections that will be used for auditions will be marked, please be familiar but not memorized.

Spots are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
