The Chalk Garden

This Enid Bagnold play is a psychological chamber piece that explores the secret world of childhood through the prism of a dyed-in-the-wool British dowager Mrs. St. Maugham and her precocious and equally eccentric granddaughter Laurel. When enigmatic Miss Madrigal is hired as household companion and manager, the two finally meet their match.
Roles are available for 7 females (ages 16 - 80) and 2 men (40+).
Performances will be April 11 - May 3.
Open Auditions for The Chalk Garden, directed by Frank Benge, will be Feb. 17 & 18from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Old Depot Stage.
