The Boys Next Door
by Sam Bass Theatre Association

Dec. 09 - Dec. 10 (2013)

Open auditions for Tom Griffin's The Boys Next Door, a play about four men with developmental disabilities who live together in a small apartment and Jack, the caring social worker who is on the verge of career burn-out. The action takes place over the course of two months, during which we see the men dealing with various situations which would seem natural to others but which are complicated for them. These situations provide the audience with a mix of heartwarming comedy and stunning drama. Throughout the play, there are moments when some of the characters step out of themselves and address the audience with their inner thoughts as if they were emotionally stabilized.
