Charming ex-con involved in the scam. He pretends to be an old friend of Sam's and plays a psychological game with Susy, eventually showing flickers of sympathy.

Harry Roat Jr: Male, 30-50's Calculating, menacing, with a sinister side. The ruthless and sociopathic mastermind of the criminal plot. Violently ambitious, stops at nothing to get the doll.

Sgt. Carlino: Male 30-50's. Talman's partner, more nervous and unsure of himself. Dim-witted ex-con and former police officer. Acts as the heavy and physical muscle of the group Sam Hendrix: Male, mid 20's-30's Susy's supportive and protective husband. Hardworking professional photographer who unknowingly brought the dangerous doll across the border setting the plot in motion

Gloria: Female, young girl 12-18 ?, Susy's young neighbor with a fierce loyalty. She helps Susy with errands and chores. She accidentally steals the incriminating doll and later plays a key role in helping Susy uncover the truth
