by PBS Austin
Jul. 28 - Aug. 13
Return to Carrascolendas chronicles the history of the groundbreaking bilingual children’s educational television program Carrascolendas and the legacy of its creator, Aida Barrera. Produced in Austin and broadcast nationally starting in the 1970s, Carrascolendas was a pioneer for Latinx representation both in front of and behind the camera.
