by The Theatre Company (TTC)
Mar. 23
We’re holding auditions exclusively for the role of Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch—the soulful, complex character who dreams of finding their own voice in the spotlight.

Are you ready to step into the shoes of Yitzhak, Hedwig’s loyal powerhouse partner? Hedwig, the internationally ignored song stylist, will be played by Bran Kempf. Yitzhak is Hedwig’s husband and back-up singer, traditionally performed by a female-identifying performer. We are open to female and non-binary performers of any race. You must be 18 or older. We recommend a rock song for the audition. Karaoke only. In addition to your audition song, be prepared to sing a few bars of “I Will Always Love You” acapella. If you’ve got fierce vocals, emotional depth, and a craving to be part of a legendary rock musical, THIS is your moment. 🗓️ Audition Date: Monday, March 23 at 9 PM 📍 Location: TTC 💥 Female or non-binary, any race or ethnicity. Must be 18 or over. NOTE: Due to the complexity of access to the TTC stage, the rehearsal schedule will include offsite locations in addition to late night rehearsals between 9-11PM. A tentative schedule will be provided at the audition. You are joining a punk rock band and we are turning TTC into CBGBs after everyone else goes home for the night! PERFORMANCES: Thursday, June 25, Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 PM |
