Faking Salvation

Quissquitawna (population: 6) is on the brink of extinction.
Paul, a frustrated fishing guide, is locked in a bitter feud with the town's mayor sheriff, and head of the Lions Club--who all happen to be his sister, Gina. When Paul's estrangeddaughter, Jill, accidentally tweets that a miracle has occurred at the village, the lie spirals out of control.
Suddenly, a Vatican inspector and a woman seeking a cure arrive, forcing the townspeople- ioncluding Edna, the local bear-hunting enthusiast- to scrable through a desperate scheme where faith and deception collide.

Paul: 50's-60's, curmudgeon/fishing guide in Quissquitawna and brother of Gina.
Gina-50's -60's, Paul's older sister and the mayor/ game warden/sheriff and head of the Lions Club in Quissquitawna.
Jill: 22, Paul's daughter-she has dropped out of college.
Edna: 70-80, a flexible (can do a squat) and tough as nails bear hunter and the soul of Quissquitawna.
Dr. Neil Smircich: 30-40, Biologist and Inspector of Miracles for the Vatican.
Carol: late 20's-early 30's, dying woman who has been shipped up to Quissquitawna by her mother to be cured.
