Pride and Prejudice (Munsil)

Based on the novel by Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice is set in 1813. The play follows the character development of Elizabeth Bennet, the dynamic protagonist, who learns about the repercussions of hasty judgments and eventually comes to appreciate the difference between superficial goodness and actual goodness. A classic piece filled with comedy; its humour lies in its honest depiction of manners, education, marriage and money during the Regency era in Great Britain.

Elizabeth Bennet -Second oldest sister: age range 15-25

Mary Bennet -Middle sister: age range 15-20

Kitty Bennet -Second youngest sister: age range 15-20

Lydia Bennet -Youngest sister: age range 15-20

Mr. Gardiner -Brother to Mrs. Bennet: age range 40-55

Mrs. Gardiner -Wife to Mr. Gardiner: age range 40-50

Charles Bingley -Eligible wealthy bachelor: age range 25-30

Caroline Bingley -Sister to Charles Bingley: age range 20-27

Charlotte Lucas -Friend to Lizzie Bennet: age range 20-25

Fitzwilliam Darcy -Eligible wealthy bachelor: age range 25-35

Georgiana Darcy -Sister to Mr. F. Darcy: age range 20-30

George Wickham -A member of the armed forces: age range 25-35

Lady Catherine de Bourgh -age range 50-60

Lady Anne de Bourgh -Daughter to Lady Catherine: age range 17-25

Reynolds -Housekeeper to Mr. Darcy: age range 50-60
