Performers are to sign up for a time slot on either November 8th OR 9th, 2025. Do not sign up for more than one time slot. If all time slots are full, we will do our best to create additional ones, but we can not guarantee it. A video option will only be offered if all slots are filled. If you need to cancel a time slot please email Alex@wondertheatre.org. Auditions will take place at the Wonder Theatre located at the Wonderland of the Americas, 4522 Fredericksburg Rd A90, Balcones Heights, TX 78201.

 

Please prepare a song in the style of the show that is 16-32 bars that is no longer than 2 minutes. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. No tracked music or a cappella singing will be allowed. There will be a dance audition, so bring dance shoes and appropriate clothing to move in.

 

Closer to the audition day we will email everyone an audition form to fill out. Please have it filled out by 11/1. Please arrive early to sign in and make sure we have your audition form. Auditions are only for those ages 18 and up. Performers will receive a small stipend for being in the shows. Please note we are a community theater and do not work with Equity contracts at this time.

 

The ages listed in the character breakdown are approximate. Performers should be able to play and appear as those ages on stage. Gender is provided as a guide to how the character will be presented on stage. Individuals of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to audition.

 

 

Performances: Feb. 6, 2025 - March 1, 2025.
Shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 3 pm. There is a special 2 pm show on Feb 28.

Rehearsals:
Dec. 7-18, 2025 and Jan 4 - Feb 5, 2026
Rehearsals are typically Sundays from 6 pm-10 pm, and Mondays-Thursday from 7 pm-10 pm. Two weeks before the show open rehearsals start at 6:30, and tech week rehearsals start at 6 pm.

Our one Friday rehearsal will be Jan 30 from 6:30 pm-10 pm and our mandatory tech rehearsal from 12 pm-10 pm will be Sunday Feb 1.

Two weeks before the show opens there are to be no conflicts and NO-SHOW CONFLICTS, unless already approved by the Executive Director.
